However, that's what we wanted, and Andy's got the call! You walk through the door and it smelled the way great pizza places smell. For a quiet, cold night in a small town, several tables were filled by locals: Another great sign! Food on tables looked great. And we called an audible: Calzones! They were spectacular. Great crust, great flavor, smooth cheese melt, definitely hand made. Could have used more pepperoni, but I loved it nonetheless. A great garden salad and 60 minute IPA rounded out the meal...with leftovers I enjoyed at midnight! Another great local find and I can't wait to go back to try their pasta and order a calzone to go! “ Super cute, small but mighty place. Tiny is more like it. Service was very friendly, we had a person in our party whom wasn't feeling her best, the server was accommodating and went above and beyond. The standout foods in our group were calazone with peppers and mushrooms, fettuccine alfredo with chicken. Meatloaf was just okay. No pictures as we were on a 13 hour road trip and the 5 of us were "starving." ”

“ Please remember this is Lovettsville. It is a respite from the crazy world outside its borders. I have eaten all over the world when I was younger and for the last 25 years, I have lived in Loudoun and realized that the simple life that I have here is so much better than the hectic life I had in Washington DC and traveling around the world. Andy's is Andy's. It's quiet. It's got normal people in it who don't look at each other to see who's richer order a pizza a club sandwich and Italian meal kebabs you will get food that will satisfy you and make you happy That you didn't have to cook or drive to DC. Find a place to park paying an overpriced valet fee be charged hundreds of dollars a person to get a radish on a scallop because of famous chef decided to put it there I know most of these chefs-when the night is over, they eat the simplest of foods they're tired of all the BS of what they're putting off on their unsuspecting customers. They eat Andy's food or food like it. Lovettsville has recently expanded its options for eating, but don't forget that Andy's has been there to support you for years . I remember when it was a French place, which wasn't bad by the way, and then Candelora's which wasn't bad by the way, but due to a cloud of white dust that hung around the Management it disappeared to Purcellville. And then Andy took over /not the most schmooze lovey-dovey guy, but he's still here in Lovettsville and I will continue to support him and I hope you do too and I've never had a bad meal here. I've never gotten sick and I hope he's around longer than I am. If he goes before me I'll buy it and continue! Long live Andy's thank you for being there. No I don't know him. I'm not a relative and I'm not Andy. It's just great to have a quiet place to go. Have a drink. Have a meal and drive home in 10 minutes unless a deer jumps out in front of me and Lovettsville road lol. Keep Andy in business. ”

“ Pizza, sandwiches are all delicious here -- have always had a wonderful experience with staff and the owner/boss-- only come to town about once a year now but if anyone ever gives me a nickname for my check, I would think it was hysterical "mid aged blonde who can't make up her mind" would suit me lol ”

“ I'm new to the area and am exploring the different places to eat. I had the lasagna. I also bought some pepperoni pizza's and a calzone for the family. Everything was good! I especially liked the lasagna. Service was prompt and professional. A nice little spot in the area. I will definitely be back for more. ”

“ I think like most places Andy's can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are. We usually go when visiting family in Lovettsville. This is just one of only a handful of places that we enjoyed eating at where we didn't have to drive into the City to eat. Having it be very close and local is definitely a plus. I usually get a salad and the tortellini, every time it has been different. Some times the tortellini is perfect others not so but always edible. My family usually gets a variation on spaghetti which I hate to say is difficult to mess up, but it is. Spaghetti isn't a new concept and it's not rocket science so if you want a good spaghetti, they got you covered. All and all, the staff is friendly and I haven't had a poor experience here with dining in or takeout. Def recommend if you are in town. ”

“ Went to Andy's for lunch with my wife, she's been a Lovettsvillian for much longer than me & said it's a town favorite. I love great pizza, which is what Andy's is known for, so I was excited to try it. The dining room is small, about 10 tables, but there is an outdoor section. The decor is very small-town shabby but cozy. I had the supreme pizza which was excellent! Lots of toppings & the crust was flavorful and chewy. My wife has the Maryland crab soup and the steak & cheese. The soup was a very good rendition, not too much tomato & full of crab. The steak & cheese was also quite good, crusty bread & generous portion of meat. The service was okay, which is why I only give 4 stars. The servers were giving it their all but there were only 2 of them for the dining room & they also handle take out. Andy's gets VERY busy so get there early or between peak hours. Overall I liked Andy's very much! I'll probably stick to take out over dine-in just because I live so close. ”

“ After a day of wineries and breweries, all I wanted was some greasy pizza to revive me. I had no plans of stopping by Andy's but it was right near where I was staying and they seemed to have some reasonable prices. I placed an order for pick up before I drove back from Harpers Ferry (about a 15/20 min drive) and by the time I arrived, my order was ready. There's plenty of parking in the back lot. I got a small cheese pizza and a side of french fries. The staff was friendly, attentive, and fast. The restaurant itself was pretty popping for a Thursday night! If I'm ever back in the area, I might stop by to dine in - they seem to be a local favorite. All in all, I was very satisfied with the pizza. It was cheesy, greasy, and exactly what I wanted. I ate the whole thing! ”
